Putting Consumers At The Center

When I started out to write this post I was thinking about writing about “How to find a profitable niche in affiliate marketing”.  After doing some research I found out that I was behind the times. I think we are out growing “the money is in the niche” mentality and thinking more of the consumer.

From what I have researched 70% percent of Americans own a smartphone, I’m sure more then that have a computer or tablet.  It is definitely more convenient to shop on line then to go out to a store and shop.  You can buy groceries to clothes on line these days.  Seriously, how many of you are an Amazon associate.  As an consumer you are being catered to by stores like Kohl’s, Macys, Popa Johns if you want a pizza, Wayfair if you want to buy home furnishings.  You name it, its being sold on line.  Along with that they have an app for your convenience also.  Yes, catering to the consumer is the new norm.

Everybody Is Into Content Marketing To Advertise Their Affiliate Products These Days.

Why does Content Marketing Work

Remember that the products that you are selling are also being sold by thousand of other affiliates and you have to stand out.  This being said you want to send your list a nice email filled with valuable content. When I say email I am also referring to newsletter also.

In my last post I wrote about the bare bones of an email campaign.  And you know that there are several emails written at an easy interval for your readers sake in each email campaign.  Every one of these emails should be written with good content to keep your subscriber engaged and looking forward to your next email, ideally.  Along with that you want to have these emails to be SEO friendly.

Does Email Marketing Still Work

No Advice is Good AdviceI know there are some rumors that email marketing is DEAD.  I, myself says NO.  Now you are probably saying “who is she an authority on email marketing”!  I use email marketing every day to contact my subscribers.  I send them emails describing products that I think maybe useful for their business.  I send them information on educational material that maybe helpful to them and the latest trend that may interest them.  In short I like to build a relationship with my customers and subscribers.  One of the best ways to do this is with email marketing.  I do not bombard them with emails I do this in a thoughtful fashion always mindful of their feelings.
